It is the tallest stracture in Paris. The tower has 3 levels for visitiors, with restaurants on the first and the second levels. The top level is the highest observation desk. The wrought iron of the Eiffel Tower weights 7300 tons. Maintenance of the tower includes applying 60 tons of paint every seven years to prevent it form rusting. Eiffel and his team understood the importence of wind forces, and know that if they were going to built the tallest structure in the world, they had to be sure if could withstand them.
